The xSDK team are developers of xSDK packages and infrastructure, as motivated by the needs of diverse extreme-scale scientific applications. Initial contributors are developers of four numerical libraries (hypre, PETSc, SuperLU, and Trilinos) and the Alquimia biogeochemistry package, as motivated especially subsurface simulations in the IDEAS project. Through the xSDK4ECP project, the developers of SUNDIALS and the dense linear algebra packages MAGMA, PLASMA, DPLASMA, ScaLAPACK, and LAPACK are implementing xSDK package community policies as needed by applications in the ECP, and we are extending interoperability layers among all xSDK member packages.
