About xSDK
The xSDK, which provides the foundation of an extensible scientific software ecosystem, began within the IDEAS scientific software productivity project with support from the DOE Office of Science, Offices of Advanced Scientific Computing Research (ASCR) and Biological and Environmental Research (BER).
The vision of the xSDK is to provide infrastructure for and interoperability of a collection of related and complementary software elements—developed by diverse, independent teams throughout the high-performance computing (HPC) community.
